Eric Anthony Lopez is an actor/vocalist from New York, NY. At just 19, Eric was pulled from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY to join the Off-Broadway Company of The Jackie Mason Musical (Davenport Theatre / Off Broadway) where he was a Standby.
Upon turning 20, Lopez assumed the full time role of Nelson Zee 8x a week..where he'd stay for over a year.
During the time, He became the youngest & first actor to join Grammy Nominated Broadway's Inspirational Voices (TONY Nominee Michael McElroy Dir.) to be born after it's 1994 inception.
Upon turning 21, Lopez went to London to make his West End debut in Limited Engagements of Carmen (London Wimbledon/Ellen Kent, Dir.), Tosca (London Wimbledon/Ellen Kent, Dir.). Additional Int'l credits include Dido & Aeneas (Birmingham Opera), Elijah (Sydney Opera House-AU), Broadway's Christmas Wonderland (Premiere Tokyo Cast)
Upon returning to New York at 23, Lopez went on to do The 25th Anniversary of Broadway's Crazy For You (Lincoln Center / Susan Stroman, dir.), Then make his straight play debut in the Chicago Revival of Terrance McNally's TONY Award Winning Master Class (Starring: Janet Ulrich Brooks), in the role of Anthony. Lopez went on to opened up the New World Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of The Opera (Hal Prince, dir.), where he holds the distinction as the youngest actor, understudy or otherwise to cover "Pianji" in the history of the long running franchise, normally played by actors in there 30's/40's. Lopez is signed with PHANTOM until 2021.
Lopez's debut studio album "21 & COUNTING", hit the No. 1 spot on iTunes after appearing on FOX's AMERICAN IDOL.
